Mixed Media
Rainforest Art Adventure
Learn about the animals that fly through the canopy and dwell in the dense forest floor while creating and having fun. Tots will draw, paint, cut, and paste to create exotic animals and lush landscapes, bringing their rainforest adventure to life! After the art projects are finished for the day, students will go outside to play games as a reward for their hard work creating! Parents do not need to accompany children in this class.
Make It, Play It for Tots
Tots have fun mixing art and music together in this class! Students will create unique and personal musical instruments from around the world out of a variety of materials. Make shakers, clic clacs, drums, and more in this interactive class! Parents do not need to accompany children in this class.
Art Animals, Farm Animals
Create colorful art animals that can be found on the farm in this class! First, students will create a farm using egg cartons, wood sticks, and paint! Then, students will fill their farm with animals that they create out of mixed media materials such as hens, rabbits, frogs, and ladybugs. Kids have fun experimenting with 2-D and 3-D art elements while creating their very own art farm. Parents do not need to accompany children in this class.
YogART for Tots
Be creative and active in YogART with Randi Jo! During the first hour, Randi Jo will lead a yoga lesson with the kids. During the second half of the class, kids will participate in an art project that aligns with the theme of the day. Kids will learn about mandalas, meditation, and mindfulness while creating and having fun! Parents do not need to accompany children in this class.
Creating Abstractions
Join Jeanne as she creates a fun environment to empower creative flow in student artwork. Students will learn about bringing shapes, color, techniques, edges, texture, value and more together to form abstract works of art. Jeanne will share different quotes and insight on creativity, discussing what helps us become more creative. Students will have the option to transfer words or quotes or saying onto our work that may be an inspiration to others. Laughter, abstract thinking and class participation is encouraged!
