What materials are used in art? Our youngest artists will explore the variety of art materials that can be used to create in this week long camp. Each camper will choose a favorite work to be displayed in Kimball Art Center’s annual Wasatch Back Student Art Show.
Mixed Media
Upcycled Art- Teens
Get creative with found objects. We’ll explore paper mache, painting, collage and sculpture as we create one-of-a-kind art each day.
Take Flight- Tots
Learn about all the things that fly while making colorful mixed media art projects using colorful, bright materials. Campers will cultivate confidence, creativity, and problem solving while improving focus, collaboration, imagination, hand-eye coordination, and following instructions throughout the week.
Upcycled Art- Tots
Art is everywhere! Campers will create art using natural and recycled materials like bubble wrap, string, sandpaper, leaves, twigs, pebbles, bark and grass.
YogART- Tots
At Kimball Art Center, we stretch more than just your creativity. YogART balances body, mind, and soul. Campers will learn meditation, mindfulness, and yoga while creating art projects inspired by the day’s theme.
Stories into Sculptures- Tots
Beloved children’s stories take center stage as children campers use clay to create figurines of their favorite characters.
