Winter Break Art Drop In- Gingerbread Houses

Explore your creativity during the winter break and drop-in to our studio between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m for a winter themed art project. Unlike a typical class, this open studio lab is self-directed, with KAC staff standing by for assistance. Plan on one hour to complete the project, themes vary each day and are appropriate for kids and adults! Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $35 per person/project.

Wheel Throwing Advanced/ Intermediate Session 4

Join us for an in-depth exploration of clay on the potter’s wheel. Learn clay preparation, wheel throwing, trimming, handle pulling and the firing process while creating cups, mugs, bowls, plates and other forms. All work will be fired and ready for pick up in the Kimball Art Center 7-14 days after your class. We do not ship class work. If artwork is not picked up after 60 days it will be recycled. *Since artwork may look different after firing, make your pottery or sculpture recognizable by carving a signature into your piece.

Find Your Voice Session 3; Portraits- Fall

Join us while we explore painting the human face! In this class we will be learning how to start an underpainting and will be focusing on how to see the face in shapes of light and shadow while learning about color and form.
