Join us for a free monthly peer-to-peer critique night on the last Wednesday of each month! We invite you to bring your original artwork (finished or in-progress), to give and receive constructive feedback from fellow artists. Our goal is to create and foster a collaborative and open environment that is supportive and critical for practicing artists in our community. Discussions will revolve around conceptual thinking and specific media practices. Participants can bring 1-3 pieces of original artwork and should come prepared with questions for feedback. Please come ready to participate, and feel free to stick around after the critique and join the group for food/drinks at a walkable restaurant location to continue the conversation. Pre-registration is encouraged, space is limited to 12 participants.

Wine & Watercolor @ Old Town Cellars
Relax and create with us at Old Town Cellars and enjoy a truly unique creative experience. Heather will teach basic watercolor techniques that anyone can conquer. Every participant will leave with at least one watercolor piece that they are proud of. Wine, spirits and food will be available for purchase during the class. Bring a friend, a group, or come on your own and have fun! 21+ only.
Explorations in Painting I
Take time to relax and learn to paint with either acrylic or oil paints in this class (student’s choice). Students will learn to paint from references – either photographs and/or still life sets. Students can bring in their own photographs to paint. By the last day of class, students will have the skills necessary to continue painting on their own, or advance to another class.
Metalsmithing I
Have you always wanted to learn to craft your own jewelry using silver and other metals? Join Jan as she instructs students in the art of metalsmithing including sawing, shaping, soldering, forming, polishing and stone setting. Students should be able to create at least two finished projects in class. This class is for beginners.
Wheel Throwing for Kids III
Learn how to create wheel thrown pottery in this class. After a demonstration on the first day, students will work on the wheel to perfect their techniques and create wheel thrown forms! Students must have previous experience in handbuilding with clay. Students must have strength in their arms in order to control the clay on the wheel in this class! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 10-12 days after the class session is finished.
