Wheel Try It

Join us in the clay studio Friday afternoons this spring! We provide the clay, equipment, and space — you bring the ideas! In this open-studio format, participants receive a demonstration in wheel throwing, sculpting, coil building, or slab building and then are set loose to create their ideas with clay! Price is per session. Space is limited, reserve your spot early. Membership discounts do not apply.

Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 3 weeks from class date.

Please keep in mind we can only store your ceramic pieces for 21 days after firing.

Ages 13+

Artful Afternoons/Colorful Cairns

Put your kids on the right path in this painted cairns class. They’ll personalize cairns to leave their mark on any trail.

This class will meet via Zoom.

AGES 7-12

Materials Needed:

Smooth medium sized rocks pre-washed / acrylic paint / elmers glue or glue gun / paint brush / pencil

Artful Afternoons/Bird Feeders

Feeding our feathered friends has never been so fun! Kids will make a bird feeder and treats for the winged visitors.

This class will meet via Zoom.

AGES 7-12

Materials Needed:

Orange sliced in half and gutted/ kitchen skewers or chop stick set or sticks / twine or string or yarn/ bird seed / ice cream cone/ peanut butter/ pencil/popped popcorn, cheerios, berries or sliced fruit

Artful Afternoons/Frogs & Flowers

Using an old egg carton, kiddos will make a “hoppy” spring bouquet.

This class will meet via Zoom.

AGES 7-12

Materials Needed:

Egg cartons any material/ paint/ markers/ printer paper or construction paper/ pipe cleaner or straw/ pencil / Scissors

This after-school program allows young artists to explore their creativity using a variety of fun materials each week. Drop-ins welcome. Price is per session.

This week’s project is glass fusion.

$25 + $25 materials fee

Due to firing times, all glass pieces are available for pick up 5-7 day after the class session.
