Join Jeanne as she creates a fun environment to empower creative flow in student’s artwork. Students will learn about bringing shapes, color, techniques, edges, texture, value and more together to form abstract works of art. Jeanne will share different quotes and insight on creativity, discussing what helps us become more creative. Students will have the option to transfer words, quotes or sayings onto their work that may be an inspiration to others. Laughter, abstract thinking and class participation is encouraged!
Intro to Watercolor
These sessions will teach the basics of watercolor. Intermediate students are welcome to participate as Jeanne will work at the individual pace of each student. Jeanne will teach you how to use the correct tools and the correct methods to achieve an awesome painting. On the first day of class, please bring one piece of Masonite or a thick wood panel to tape down the paper. Jeanne LaRae will supply the watercolors. This will allow you to explore this medium without a huge investment. This is a class that will help you learn the skills to move forward into other drawing and painting classes with more confidence and abilities to paint either on your own or along with an instructor.
