1 Day Welding Workshop

by

Using MIG welders, oxygen/acetylene torches, plasma cutters, grinders, shapers, and cut-off tools, students will learn metalworking and metal sculpture design. Each date is a separate workshop with its own project and finished piece.

Course Goals: Explore the fun of completing a project with steel, using basic metal cutting and welding equipment.  Wear cotton or leather clothing, bring gloves and eye protection if you have them.  Welding helmets, ear and eye protection, gloves will be provided.

Family Friendly Workshop: Pumpkin Painting Party

Halloween is just around the corner, but there’s still time to have fun with pumpkins and enjoy the end of fall! Find inspiration from artist Yayoi Kusama and explore painting pumpkins with patterns, colors and designs! Price is per project. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Embrace the cozy vibes of fall as our skilled instructor guides you through the slab technique, allowing you to mold and design your unique leaf-inspired plates. Infuse your creations with personal touches using textures and decorative elements, and unlock the world of glazing to add depth and vibrancy.

Please note that firing your leaf plates will take 7-14 days. They’ll be available for pick-up at the studio; unfortunately, we don’t offer shipping for class pieces. To ensure your beautiful plates aren’t recycled, kindly collect them within 60 days. Pricing is per project, and we warmly welcome kids under 12 accompanied by an adult.
